Description
Providence Saint John’s Child and Family Development Center (CFDC) in Santa Monica, CA is looking for a qualified bilingual (Spanish) clinician to join our outpatient program and provide mental health services to children and their families in a community mental health setting. Mental health services will include diagnostic assessments as well as evidence-based individual, group, and family treatment in order to assist clients in reaching and maintaining optimal level(s) of functioning. Additionally, the therapist will attend on-site professional development, participate in multidisciplinary consultation, and provide support during psychiatric evaluation and med management appointments. The population served at CFDC consists of youth who are impacted by a wide range of psycho-social and emotional barriers running the diagnostic gamut; therefore, a strong clinical foundation is required. Clients are mostly agency based with the occasional school, home, or greater community contact. Currently all services are being rendered via Telehealth due to COVID-19.

Skills
Therapist must be a licensed or license eligible Psychologist, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist who is registered with the BOP/BBS. Experience with DMH documentation is required, and training in Evidence Based Practices is preferred. Experience with psychological assessment is necessary for applicants who are psychologists.
