Are you a leader who is passionate about caring for individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness? Diversity is seeking a Program Manager for our Residential Homes. In a nutshell, this position leads several small teams who run our 14 residential homes ensuring we do the best job possible, play by all the rules, and be fiscally successful.
What we are looking for:
A passionate, caring leader who believes in taking care of the team, because they take care of the clients. Someone who believes in serving those they lead, leading through example, and setting a positive tone every day. Everyone has tough days, and this person needs to have the drive to help the team through those so we can celebrate the great days.
We need someone with a keen eye for detail – both in the budget and compliance. This industry has a lot of rules designed to protect our clients, and we need a master of those rules, primarily VA DBHDS and Licensing, who understands how the rules are helpful, not a hinderance. Budgets need to be your friend and ally in managing the program, identifying problems, and developing and implementing solutions.
What you need to have:
Candidates for this role must have:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university majoring in social services, education, social science, or another related field;
4 years of experience working in an agency providing supervision and training for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably in the area of residential services
