The Program Manager is responsible for the overall program development and implementation of services for youth ages 12-18 yr in a 20 bed Homeless Youth Prevention Center for runaway, homeless and at risk youth. The Program Manager provides oversight and modeling for creating a welcoming environment to youth in need of stabilization, safety and security with the goal of successful and sustainable reunification with their families. This exciting opportunity provides alternatives for youth and families to divert them from involvement in the foster care or juvenile justice systems. Comprehensive programs includes counseling, education, improved well-being, increased permanent connections with caring adults and advocacy through a lens of inclusivity and cultural sensitivity.

• Oversight of 20 bed group home for runaway, homeless and at risk youth exhibiting high risk behaviors and mental health issues
• Supervision and professional development of approximately 10-12 direct care staff
• Crisis Intervention
• Facilitate weekly staff meetings and clinical reviews
• Assist in development and refinement of program model including staff mentorship, youth development level system, recreational activities, therapeutic groups, program structure
• Assist Residential Counselors with setting weekly goals with their mentees that are measurable and celebrate all successes with staff and youth
• Management with budget guidelines, reporting requirements and documentation.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

This job supervises Residential Counselors and RELIEF Residential Counselors in the 20-bed crisis residential program.

Master’s Degree in Counseling or Psychology and two to four years related field experience or Bachelor’s Degree and three to five years of related field experience required. Management and training experience required. Experience working with culturally diverse youth required. LCSW or LMFT desired. Experience with Community Care Licensing (CCL) programs a huge plus!
