Job DescriptionThis position will receive and process confidential client information from a variety of sources for the Los Angeles County Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. The Coordinator will also generate detailed reports in a timely fashion to reflect client information per established requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review all source documents for accuracy and correctness.
Coordinate changes and/or errors in source documents with appropriate Program/Project Managers.
Input data into appropriate data system.
Generate reports for OMB funding sources as required, meeting all prescribed deadlines.
Provide back-up reception and administrative services, as required.
Attend all meetings regarding the maintenance/revisions of all systems relating to data reporting. Meetings may be internal or external.
Work with staffs of funding agencies to facilitate data reporting.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with administrative duties including the assembly of binders or other files.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ability to use keyboard and phone to intake information.
Ability to accept preliminary investigations of reports of alleged elder and dependent adult abuse where the Ombudsman Program has jurisdiction.
Compile and accurately report statistical data in conformance with established policies and procedures using the Ombudsman Data Integration Network (ODIN).
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education.
Minimum of High school diploma or GED required with a minimum of two (2) year’s college preferred.
Experience.
Minimum of three (3) year’s experience in a data collection/reporting role.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position may be based in a Regional office of WISE & Healthy Aging or the main office of WISE & Healthy Aging located in Santa Monica, California.
