Clinical Supervisor (Contract)

Responsible for offering individual and group clinical supervision for MFT and MSW associates and trainees who work within various programs at Youth Homes, including but not limited to Family Pathways, TAY Aftercare/FSP, TBS, & Residential staff members. Each program offers a variety of community mental health services specifically for foster youth, such as Individual/Family Therapy, Rehab, Case Management, Intensive Care Coordination (ICC), Behavioral Specialist, group facilitation, etc. This position requires that the supervisor is knowledgeable & adept in culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, behavioral and attachment centered therapeutic modalities and Evidence Based Practices (EVP). Some of these services are informed by the Integrated Core Practice Model (ICPM) which is written and required by the state of California. These programs work with the child, caregivers, families of origin/natural supports, the social worker, & other providers in order to assure that mental health treatment needs are met, and to work toward stable & permanent placement, and stronger family connections.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current license in MFT or LCSW or Clinical Psychologist, holding license in good standing for minimum 2 years

• A 5 + years’ experience working in community mental health

• A minimum of 1-year supervisory experience

• Experience in field-based behavioral coaching

• At least 6 initial hours training in clinical supervision

• Have basic word processing & data entry skills

• Must be 21 years of age (licensing requirement)

• Possess a CA driver’s license, with no restrictions

• Responsible for providing own well maintained & privately insured car for official travel when necessary. Ability to drive private vehicle while observing safety rules & legal driving guidelines. Must maintain driving record that is acceptable to Youth Homes’ automobile insurance carrier

Other Requirements:

• Must pass all mandated security clearances, prior to rendering services

• Must pass a health & drug screening, prior to employment

• Must meet all training & agency compliance requirements for this position
