We are currently seeking to fill several full time and part time Psychothreapist positions for our Brooklyn and Queens Outpatient Mental Health Clinics programs.

For over 117 years, Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens has been providing quality social services to the neighborhoods of Brooklyn and Queens, and currently offers 160-plus programs and services for children, youth, adults, seniors, and those struggling with mental illness. Our Clinics are community-based which offer a professional and welcoming environment for both clients and staff. The Clinics provide psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacological therapy, as well as individual, group, family therapy, crisis intervention, medication management, case management and collateral sessions. Our staff members follow an approach to health care that emphasizes wellness, recovery, trauma-informed care and physical-behavioral health integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Psychotherapist (LMSW/LMHC/LCSW) is responsible for direct service to clients in the Agency’s outpatient mental health programs. The Social Worker will function as part of a treatment team, maintains mandated levels of service, participates in Agency meetings as required and fully comply with Agency policies and procedures. The Psychotherapist (LMSW/LMHC/LCSW) will perform initial interview, crisis intervention, and ongoing therapy with individuals, groups and families. The Psychotherapist (LMSW/LMHC/LCSW) will adhere to all standards of contract compliance, audit readiness, Agency policies and procedures and all other regulatory requirements. The Psychotherapist (LMSW/LMHC/LCSW) will work as a member of a team to help insure the overall integrity and welfare of the Agency.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Must have a Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
•        Clinical experience a plus, along with valid NYS LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW license.
•        Must be very well organized.
•        Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
•        Have excellent oral & written communications skills.
•        Must be computer literate & knowledgeable of MS Word, Excel, & Outlook.
•        We offer a competitive salary & comprehensive benefit package including pension and health insurance, with generous paid vacation and personal days. LMSW candidates will also be able to receive Clinical Supervision hours toward LCSW exam eligibility. Full-time and part-time positions are currently available.
•        Candidates with three years of experience and LCSW license may be eligible for Clinical Supervisor position.
Currently following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the New York State Department of Health (DOH) guidelines during the pandemic including rotating/flexible/staggered schedules. (Subject to change based on the beforementioned public health officials recommendations and/or Funding Source Requirements.
