The Center for Urban Community Services, a national leader in the development of effective housing and service initiative for homeless people, invites applications for the Deputy Director of Operations-Psychiatry for CUCS’ affiliate, Janian Medical Care, P.C. This is a Program Director Level position with CUCS. A leader in community health and mental health care, Janian Medical Care, P.C., provides medical, nursing, and psychiatric services through formal partnerships with community-based programs serving homeless and formerly homeless people.
The Deputy Director of Operations-Psychiatry oversees and is responsible for the day to day administrative functions of Janian under the supervision of the Deputy Chief Program Officer of Janian Medical Care. This includes regular interface with the Directors of Human Resources, Fiscal, and the Management Team of CUCS and Janian partner organizations and external stakeholders.
Other responsibilities include oversight of the portfolio of grant-based psychiatric and medical services serving more than 3,500 individuals at 54 partner sites. The Deputy Director of Operations-Psychiatry cultivates relationships with our partner programs to ensure the effective delivery of our services. Other responsibilities include supervision and management of funder reports, program budget, contract compliance, and development of new policy and procedure for program operations in collaboration with Janian management staff. The Deputy Director of Operations-Psychiatry assists in the recruitment of medical, nursing, psychiatry, ancillary, and administrative staff, develops and plans new initiatives and program expansion in collaboration with the medical directors of Janian and other members of the administrative team, including supervision of administrative staff.

MPH, LMSW/MSW, MBA or related field and a minimum of 5 years post masters applicable experience with community based organizations, including supervisory administrative, and management experience.
Strong written and verbal skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, highly recommended.
