Wayfinder Family Services (Wayfinder), formerly known as Junior Blind, is currently seeking a Clinical Program Manager who will be responsible for clinical services provided in our Short-Term Residential Therapeautic Program’s mental health services. This involves the supervision of assigned Therapists, TBS Specialists, Child & Family Specialists, Facilitators, and Youth Support Specialists in the delivery of a quality clinical program.
This is an exempt position that reports to the Director of STRTP, Mental Health Services.
Provides direct supervision to assigned staff. Manages personnel functions including interviewing, hiring, training, retention and discipline of staff.
Responsible for regular scheduled weekly individual and group supervision, clinical team meetings and treatment reviews.
Participates in weekly supervision and consults weekly with the Director.
Provides 24/7 assistance to assigned supervisees for clinical issues and crisis that may arise.
Oversees the quality clinical communication within and across agency programs.
Ensures compliance with clinical and case management policies and procedures.
Develops, trains and maintains Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) processes for clinical and case management functions and services.
Responsible for timely review of supervisee EHRS notes and documentation.
Serves on program and agency committees and task forces at the discretion of the Director.
Oversight of the intake process and assignment of client cases.
Coordinates and conducts external and internal utilization reviews related to chart compliance, quality and appropriateness of clinical and case management services.
Represents agency at public and assigned forums.
Consults with assigned program psychiatrist and where necessary facilitates coordination of psychiatric activities with program staff. Follows all procedures and protocols related to Evidenced Based Practices (EBP) service delivery and documentation
Assesses psychotherapeutic and case management needs of children and families and develops a treatment plan agreed on by the parent(s), placement agency and treatment team.
Develops agreed upon discharge plan and assess continuing care needs in collaboration with the Director, parent(s), placement agency and treatment team.
Involves the child and family members in the treatment plan and promote understanding.
Develops and monitors working treatment goals and objectives with measurable outcomes.
Participates in treatment reviews, individual education plans (IEP) and other case conferences as needed.
Promotes the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process by identifying quality indicators and opportunities for departmental and organizational process improvement.
Active license with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Certified in LAC-DMH approved Evidence Based Practices (EBP) and experience supervising clinicians trained in EBP.
