The Arc of Union County is a non-profit, 501c(3) organization headquartered in Springfield, NJ, dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc serves more than 1,000 adults and children each month from the 21 towns in Union County, as well as the greater Northern and Central NJ counties. The Arc Union County seeks a Director, BCBA to manage the Agency's Behavior Program. The Director, Behavior Services is responsible for overseeing the provision of evidence -based Behavioral Supports to adults with dual diagnosis comprising of developmental disabilities, and other comorbid conditions. The role encompasses a comprehensive assessment of the behavior(s)/triggers, collection and review of data, development of structured behavioral modification plans, utilization of evidenced based practice, implementation of the plans, ongoing training and periodic reassessment of the plans consistent with BACB standards. The Director, Behavior Program has full responsibility and accountability for the quality of day habilitation program and behavioral services delivered in the Behavior Program. The Behavior Day Habilitation Program is responsible for providing hands-on evidence-based Behavioral intervention services for improving challenging behaviors to adults with developmental disabilities and other associated co morbidities.

Qualifications:  Minimum six years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities minimum 5 years of successful frontline to upper management supervisory, programmatic, operations and administrative experience required.  Proficiency in Windows software, Experience writing and implementing Functional Behavior Assessments, Behavior Support Plans, Descriptive Assessments as well as documenting and analyzing behavior of knowledge, abilities and skills outlined above. Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Doctoral (BCBA-D)-OR- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) -OR- Masters-level Clinician -OR- PHD-level Behaviorist -OR- Clinician holding NADD certification.  Eight Hour Supervisor Training Course Certification for BCBA Supervision required. Must have a thorough knowledge of all DDD regulations.
