Major Functions:
Able to positively and professionally interact with all stakeholders particularly parents and advocates
Design and Develop all CFA’s, Needs/Strengths List and Personal Expenditure Plans for up to 20 consumers
Chair all Annual, Semi Annual and Special Meetings and comprehensively write all meeting minutes and oversee all recommendations made by the ITT.
Teach and train staff in Active Treatment, Normalization, Person Centered Planning and Human Growth and Development
Design Goals and Methodologies and Interventions that are clinically sound and easy to carry out.
Interface with all clinicians and coordinate and oversee their activities and advise on consumers progress.
Provide direct supervision in the absence of management

Educational Requirements :
A Bachelors Degree in social science, psychology, speech, sociology, human services from an Accredited College or University
And a minimum of one year experience working with people with intellectual disabilities.

Have a working knowledge of the basic theory and principle of social work, with special skill in social casework. He/she should be abreast of new trends and developments within the field and have the capacity to apply these to practical situations
Open to supervision and learning
Expected to have working knowledge of the governing regulations within six months
Excellent verbal and written skills
