Prototypes, a program of HealthRIGHT 360 (HR360), provides a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use disorder treatment to people in Southern California, with a focus on pregnant/parenting women. Project Enhancing Access to Comprehensive Healthcare (EACH) will improve integration between behavioral and primary health services for our client population by partnering with a local federally qualified health center (FQHC). Prototypes already provides, offer intensive, individualized care coordination to high-need individuals with severe behavioral health issues. The goal of the Prototypes CCBHC expansion is to integrate primary care and behavioral health services for behavioral health clients receiving services at Prototypes’ Pomona Women's Campus.
The Program Manager for the SAMHSA Certified Community Behavioral Health Center Expansion (CCBHC-E) grant oversees daily program operations at the site; the Manager maintains 24/7 crisis response protocols, and may need to aid staff; the Manager coordinates staff trainings, schedules, and supervises the day to day work of staff. The Program Manager participates in collaborative clinical meetings with an interdisciplinary team; the Program Manager develops stabilization plans and protocols for clients in crisis.
Understands Prototypes HealthRIGHT strategic vision and finds ways to implement and execute the vision at the treatment services level.
Responsible for compliance with all programmatic or project contractual requirements.
Responsible for compliance with all environmental, safety and health requirements of the program(s) assigned.
Develops and maintains policies and procedures as it relates to day to day program operations in collaboration with QI and EHR staff.
Implements improvements in the integration of behavioral health services to improve the quality and continuum of client care.
Implements new and innovative programs in compliance with Prototypes’ policies and procedures.
Works collaboratively with all level staff across programs.
Attends external program specific meetings and events to ensure that the program is in compliance and is kept up to date on trends related to client treatment and care and to represent Prototypes.
Assumes ownership for project issues and sees it through to completion.
Implements improvements in the integration of behavioral health services with physical care to improve the quality and continuum of client care.
Ensures that all direct service staff provide strengths based, trauma informed, and culturally competent services.
Responsible for program decisions being guided by a client centered approach.
Responsible for ensuring all direct reports and service providers submit documentation in accordance with program requirements and in compliance with all compliance and regulatory requirements and Prototypes’ policies and procedures.
Responsible for providing direct supervision, training, and guidance to the supervisors and direct service staff assigned.
Delivers or arranges training and resources required for direct reports and direct service staff to perform their roles.
Identifies the direct reports strengths and weaknesses and strives to develop each direct report to their fullest potential.
Assists direct reports in defining career goals and creates opportunities for development.
Minimum Master’s Degree Required (MSW, MFT, LPCC, or PsyD), registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or the California Board of Psychology (CBP) is required, and in good standing. Preferred: LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Licensed Psychologist.
Minimum 1 year experience working in a behavioral health setting.
Minimum 1 year experience providing supervision to direct service providers or Supervisors in comparable size agencies with similar clients
Preferred previous experience with Los Angeles County DMH or SAPC contracts and/or services
Previous experience working w/ perinatal women
Previous experience in working in integrated care (behavioral health/medical services) highly preferred
