Homes for the Homeless, Inc is seeking Afterschool Teachers for K-12 educational program at our new facility housing families with children experiencing homelessness. Our programs offer a continuum of educational services for children on site, from infant development to adolescent dropout prevention. The core of our child-centered programs includes afterschool programs, accelerated afterschool education, and constructive recreational programming.
Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, dedicated and creative. This is an excellent position for a college student or professional interested in working with K-12 aged students in a uniquely mission-oriented classroom setting. We currently have openings for:
Two part-time Assistant Afterschool Teachers, each working up to 20 hours per week
One full-time Assistant Afterschool Teacher, working 35 hours a week
