SUMMARY The purpose of this position is to provide supervision and monitoring of the clinical activities of the Foster Care program’s Clinicians and Clinical Supervisor(s).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Provide clinical and administrative supervision for Clinicians and Clinical Supervisors.
Receive counseling referrals and assigned cases to Clinicians.
Manage and oversee clinical service delivery for the program.
Ensure that all appropriate staff maintain an appropriate level of therapeutic skills to provide services to changing client populations and maintain appropriate licensure.
Participate in program staffings as needed (i.e., service coordination, discharge, etc.)
Meet with the Division Manager for clinical supervision as scheduled.
Participate as an active member of the Division Management Team.
Complete all Core Curriculum Training(s) as required for this position.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Manage clinical supervisory staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master's degree, two years related experience and certification as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT Ability to understand and demonstrate Aunt Martha's 4-step Performance Improvement process, utilizing the methodology Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA).
