Join our team as a Mental Health Therapist!
The role of the Mental Health Clinician is to provide direct clinical services to children, adolescents, and their families. Our services are usually field-based and are provided in the home, school, or other appropriate locations throughout the community. However, due to COVID-19, our services are temporarily been provided via TELEHEALTH. Utilizes one or more Evidence-Based Practice (training provided) and provides services within Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LAC DMH) guidelines. Works with clients to complete an assessment, diagnosis, and develop a mutually agreed upon treatment plan. Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented client records; Submit progress notes; Coordinate activities with intra- and inter-agencies (DCFS, DMH, and other community providers as needed) to provide enhanced mental health services for clients.
Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related degree and Registered with BBS or Board of Psychology as required to conduct therapy; Computer literacy and willingness to learn how to utilize an electronic records management system (training provided); Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity.
