The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (Lifeline) is a program administered by Vibrant. The Standards, Training and Practices (STP) Division of the Lifeline is responsible for managing best practices in clinical interventions for a national network of over 170 independently owned crisis call centers across the country.

Position Objective: The Program Manager for Clinical Training is responsible for leading efforts to develop an online suite of trainings focused on skill development in assessment and intervention for those at risk of suicide. Training's will be to Lifeline network members (a network of 165+ independently owned crisis centers across the country) in a range of clinical issues associated with crisis call centers. This position requires significant experience in the development of elearning packages and leadership in developing a training division for the Lifeline. This position requires frequent interaction with Lifeline network centers and leaders in the suicide prevention and crisis center communities.   

Primary Program: National Suicide Prevention Lifeline
Reports to: Director – Standards Training and Practices Division

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Oversee the establishment of a Lifeline Training division focused on the development of educational tools for a national network of crisis call centers.
*Maintain responsibility for the efficient development of elearning modules that together make up clinical course content for a national training for crisis call centers in crisis intervention and suicide prevention practices.
*Oversee design and assist in development of dynamic, interactive and user friendly multimedia training solutions.
*Work with clinical team to translate best practices in suicide prevention to accessible and high quality elearning content.
*Assist with managing administrative capabilities in the LMS.
*Design measurement instruments and create advanced learning activity questions for quizzes and certification exams.
Supervise staff.

Skills
*Bachelor’s degree in instructional design (preferred).
*5+ years of prior relevant experience developing eLearning courses (part. Articulate Storyline or Rise).
*Expertise in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training for adult audiences.
*Knowledge of instructional design theories and methodologies.
*Expertise in designing and maintaining eLearning courseware.
