Marketing and Design – 30%
•Design and produce NAC’s marketing and fundraising materials, including program brochures, Benefit Gala material, Young Professionals Benefit material, direct mail solicitations, NAC’s Annual Report, and other marketing and special event materials..
•Develop marketing content and editorial calendar; maintain photo and client story files.
•Manage NAC’s online marketing and fundraising campaigns. Design, write, edit and proof on-line email solicitations, e-newsletters, and other donor cultivation emails, including editing images, videos and other multimedia content. Knowledge of Salsa CRM platform or similar needed. Support on-line campaigns with off-line strategies, especially surrounding special events and seasonal appeals. Grow NAC’s email housefile by collecting information from on and off-line donations, special event attendees and volunteers. Utilize multi-channel fundraising and outreach strategy to ensure consistent branding, messaging and communication across different platforms. Analyze online fundraising reports to determine effectiveness of current strategies. Donor stewardship in the form of segmented campaigns, thank-you letters and other materials.
Communications – 20%
•Act as liaison with NAC program staff, Volunteers Department and Development staff to ensure program and client related content is developed, including the NAC storybank.
•Maintain Marketing and Social Media calendars.
•Participate in overall marketing and fundraising strategies with Development team.
•Act as Liaison for NAC Junior Board, to strategize and assist in creating a Junior Board Development Plan, marketing and digital content, and a social media presence.
Website & Social Media – 20%
•Maintain, update and promote NacKidsCan.org and grow NAC’s online presence. Update written and visual content on website for special events, news, program updates, notifications of awards, etc. to maintain accuracy and consistency.
•Promote and manage content on NAC’s Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts and identify social media and other digital strategies that can assist with donor engagement and stewardship.
•Maintain NAC’s Amazon.com Wish List.
•Research media trends on relevant subjects.
Event Planning – 15%
•Assist the Development team with all aspects of event planning and production, including NAC’s Annual Gala Benefit, Women for Women Luncheon, Donor Cultivation events, and Junior Board fundraising events.
Corporate & Individual Donor Engagement & Strategies – 10%
•Work with Volunteer Director to cultivate corporate volunteers for the purpose of corporate sponsorship of NAC events, Major Donors and NAC Junior Board membership
Manage the NAC Junior Board – 5%
•Act as the administrator and agency liaison to the NAC Junior Board
•Participate in strategic planning, membership cultivation, social media, and fundraising events
Required Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area with excellent writing, design, communications, and organizing skills.
•A minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and marketing, including online marketing, with strong graphic design skills.
•Interest in public relations and health and social services field helpful.
