Major NYC nonprofit organization providing comprehensive services for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities seeks innovative Assistant Executive Director. In this new role, you will provide leadership and direction of all operations and services assuring compliance with OPWDD/DOH regulations, applicable government agencies and agency standards. Working closely with Executive Director, recommends and develops new program and service initiatives. Develops annual budget, seeks new grant and funding opportunities, ensures efficiency and the effective use of resources. Directly supervises department Vice Presidents, key directors and works collaboratively with all agency wide departments.

•        Master's Degree in Health Care Administration or related field
•        10 years' related experience in administrative and supervisory role supporting people with disabilities
•        Must have experience with NYS regulations, OPWDD
•        Must have superior verbal and written communication skills and be able to motivate/energize workforce
•        Experience managing in a multi union environment highly desirable
•        Must have knowledge of state funding, program development, budgeting and financial reporting
