What you would do:
We're looking for an enthusiastic adaptable Inclusion Facilitators to provide one-on-one support to children with special needs/ developmental disabilities in our Before/After School program. Inclusion Facilitators will implement and follow the recommended inclusion plan to assist children in meeting established goals. Inclusion Facilitators will have a strong passion for working with school age children (K-5th grades) in a classroom setting.   

This position is a PART TIME working (1:00pm to 6:00pm) Monday – Friday. This role is a great opportunity to jumpstart your career! Many of our Inclusion Facilitators ultimately grow to take on Leadership roles over time, thanks to our YMCA Training we offer to exceptional employees. But if your goals are to work part time and be the best Inclusion Facilitator – that is great too!

Skills
Experience working with children one on one or group setting. (Ages 5-12 years old)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Early Childhood Education (ECE) credits or in a related field.
Ability to collaborate with outside agencies/community programs as a representative of the YMCA of Orange County.
Ability to work with challenging behaviors as well as to work independently and as a team member.
Growth, positive mindset and problem-solving approach.
Can do attitude.
