Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Victim Advocate (Homicide Victim Services) responsibilities include:
Respond to families of homicide victims as required to mitigate the impact of victimization, case investigation and trial proceedings
Victim Advocate (Homicide Victim Services) requirements include:
-Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral science, criminal justice, or related field
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system, family dynamics, sociological aspects of homicide and victimology
- 1-3 years of related experience working with people in a human services and/or criminal justice system setting - Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the cultural/ethnic diversity of the service population
- Valid California driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and a satisfactory driving record
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese preferred
