Hathaway-Sycamores Child & Family Services provides a spectrum of mental health services through various programs for populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the agency focuses primarily on providing care to low-income, high at- risk youth.
The role of the Intake Specialist is to provide care, assessment and behavioral interventions that develop coping and problem-solving skills, manage at-risks behaviors, teach social skills and teach transference of those skills into the home, school and community. These interventions are provided to maintain youth in the transitional shelter care milieu. These interventions are developed within the collaborative planning process and are prescribed by the program.
-Master’s degree in behavioral health and two years’ experience with children or youths with behavioral and emotional challenges. ?
-Licensed or license eligible with the CA BBS. ?
-Maintains all required licenses and certifications.
-Valid California Driver License and a driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier.
