Description The Clinical Supervisor directly oversees the work product of assigned clinicians pertaining to tasks related to their caseload assignment and provides clinical supervision and direction to staff as needed. The Clinical Supervisor uses his/her technical skills and knowledge to analyze and recommend strategies for work performance improvement and client services. A Clinical Supervisor also directly provides comprehensive assessments for children/adolescents with serious mental illness or emotional disturbances (and their families) to improve quality of life and maintain the highest possible ability to function within the community. The Clinical Supervisor has a high degree of personal integrity, generates positive energy, and makes a difference every day.
Educational / Talent Requirements: 1. Minimum Education required: Masters in clinical area of study 2. Previous experience as a Mental Health Professional or related field. 3. 1 year of child related experience 4. Ability to communicate efficiently in both oral and written communications. 5. Adherence to applicable licensing rules, accreditation standards, Code of Ethics, insurance reimbursement rules, and Hope Network New Passages policies and procedures. 6. Assure reliable transportation. Maintain a valid motor vehicle operator license.
Skills Work Experience Requirements: 1. 4 or more years of experience as a Mental Health professional or related field. 2. 4 or more years of case management experience. 3. 1 r more years of experience in Children’s Services. 4. Extensive knowledge of the Medicaid Guidelines.
