Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-6 pm

Licensed Assistant Program Director responsibilities include:
- Use independent judgment and decision-making skills to provide clinical and administrative oversight to 3 Supervisors and their 12 service providers
- Clinical level review of Bachelor's and Master's level staff mental health rehabilitation, case management and counseling documentation for Medi-Cal charting
- Daily review and clinical approval of clinical assessments and session documents, crisis intervention, intervention and treatment of consumers who experience mental health barriers to progress
- Approve and distribute funds for basic needs
- Provide linkages to specialty services and referrals to community supports
- Direct service for assessment, individual, collateral and/or group counseling services to consumers and their families for coverage of Supervisors, if needed

Licensed Assistant Program Director requirements include:
- Master's degree in counseling, psychology or social work
- Possession of a current license with BBS (MFT/LCSW) and ability to provide clinical supervision as outlined by BBS
- Minimum of 2 years of related counseling experience, post license
- Experience counseling adolescents, families, and transitional youth ages 12-25
- Knowledge of and experience with theory and techniques of individual, family, and group dynamics, behavioral interventions, substance abuse, crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused and cognitive behavioral approaches
- Demonstrate ability to work with multicultural and diverse populations with sensitivity and respect
- Must be available for after-hours emergencies with 24/7 capability for consultation
- Valid California driver’s license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a satisfactory driving record and possession of a reliable automobile
