Outreach Community Counseling Centers (Carol Stream, Wheaton, Warrenville)
The Outreach Community Counseling Centers primarily serve under-resourced populations including low-income, immigrant, and refugee individuals and families. Located in Carol Stream, Wheaton and Warrenville, the centers provide individual, couple, family and group therapy for a full range of concerns including family conflict, depression, anxiety, trauma and loss as well as crisis intervention for runaway and homeless teens. Additionally, the counseling center in Carol Stream offers evaluation and treatment for ADHD, psychological assessment for emotional and learning disabilities and wellness.

Job Responsibilities:
The Associate Therapist will provide support and therapy to youth, individuals, couples and families including assessment, treatment, termination, and coordination of services. Responsibilities include maintaining a part-time caseload engaging in 10-20 therapy sessions each week. Additionally, the Associate Therapist will be responsible for maintain case notes, submitting billable hours each pay period and participating in individual supervision, site staffings and clinical trainings. As a member of a site-based counseling team, the Associate Therapist will be supervised by a Program Director who is a licensed therapist.

Associate Therapists are managed and compensated on a case-by-case basis and receive payment for services based on hours of billable client contact. Associate therapists work part-time at an average of fewer than 28 hours per week (including client & meeting time).

$45.00 per session (1-9 sessions per week)
$47.50 per session (10-14 sessions per week)
$50.00 per session (15 + sessions per week)
$15/ hour for meetings and supervision.

A passion for the mission of OCM. Clinical licensure required. Experience in systemic interventions; ability to navigate the larger mental health and social services delivery systems; sensitivity to the needs of a low-income, culturally diverse populations. Trauma training and previous experience serving clients with trauma backgrounds strongly preferred. A commitment to Outreach Community Ministries’ Statement of Mission and Faith is required.
