Description
Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families seeks a compassionate, inspirational and seasoned leader to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer. Headquartered on a pastoral 25-acre campus midway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, Casa Pacifica’s main Camarillo campus provides the perfect setting for children and adolescents to heal and find new hope for a better future. Over the years, programs and services have evolved to meet the changing needs of the community and now include public and private residential treatment; educational services for children, professionals and foster parents; and community and outpatient programs in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Whether on campus or in the community, Casa Pacifica meets children and families at the most challenging times and places of their lives and helps them overcome some of life’s most difficult circumstances – abuse and neglect, complex emotional and behavioral issues, and family crisis. Services are designed to teach skills, restore hope, and help youth and their families find joy in daily living. Casa Pacifica has 330 employees spread across two counties and four locations. For more information on Casa Pacifica, please visit www.casapacifica.org.

Under the guidance of the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for the overall management and operation of Casa Pacifica by providing strategic vision, exceptional leadership, unassailable integrity and business and financial accountability for the organization’s sustainability and future growth. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in a senior leadership position in a complex human service or nonprofit organization that is recognized for its commitment of exemplary service to the community. The successful candidate will have effectively built a strong leadership team and interfaced with governmental agencies at the federal, state and local level. While experience in California would be beneficial, it is not a requirement. An undergraduate degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
