Title: Clinical Supervisor
Reports to: Director of Preventive Services

Position Summary:
Innovative preventive services program provides home-based therapeutic case management and advocacy services to keep children in at-risk families safe and keep families together. Position requires strong clinical supervision to a unit of 4 case planners (CPs) and family advocate/ case aide; training staff on ongoing assessment of children’s safety, addressing families’ needs, and formulation of service plan/ treatment strategies; internal quality assurance measures; and ensuring ACS program standards are consistently met.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•Comply with NYC Children’s Services Standards and Indicators for Purchased Preventive Services and duties outlined in Program Manual.
•Provide weekly supervision to CPs around clinical and case management services to families from a strengths-based, family-focused perspective.
•Ensure that all CP responsibilities and reporting is completed in a timely manner, including case notes, Promis, FASPs, initial evaluations, and intake assessments.
•Provide ongoing quality assurance RE: documentation and charts.
•Document monthly supervision notes which assess any safety/ risk to the children and will provide CPs with a framework for next steps as well as document monthly growth and development for each CP and keep sup logs up-to-date.
•Facilitate and participate in Family Team Conferences.
•Attends weekly supervisory sessions with the Director, monthly staff and supervisory meetings, and other job-related meetings/ training's including in-service annual training's.
•Provide field supervision on an ongoing basis and as needed, per the needs of the family and the program. This may include home visits.
•Responsible for completing performance appraisals in a timely manner for current staff and participating in the hiring process for new staff.
•Maintain documentation and produce paperwork/ reports as required for city, state, and agency accountability in a timely and complete manner.
•Serve as a liaison with community resources and will act as program representative at certain community meetings as well as provide community outreach.
•Perform intake and crisis response services and work flexible hours, as required, and may be asked cover cases, in times of crisis/ staff shortages.

Skills
•A minimum of a Master’s degree with a least 5yrs experience.
•LCSW, LMSW or LMHC is required.
•Previous supervisory experience and documented child welfare experience preferred.
•Bilingual and bi-cultural candidates are encouraged to apply.
•CASAC/ CASAC-T and/ or SIFI certification a plus.
