This position plays a pivotal role providing exceptional program support to LIFE’s Program Manager while creating and enhancing life at the office. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being REALLY busy, wearing multiple hats and interacting with people.
The ideal candidate has experience in working with diverse people and working within a team environment. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in multiple projects at the same time and ready to adapt to new responsibilities quickly with a can-do, jump-right-in attitude.
Within a teamwork environment, the essential functions of the job include the following responsibilities:
Provide office support to Program Manager including calling clients or partner organizations, prepare and set up for meetings and community presentations.
Run program errands including buying meeting refreshments, mailing packets, etc.
Conduct community outreach and education on LIFE services.
Assist with responding to client referrals.
Assist with finding resources for clients.
Conduct accurate and timely data entry.
Assist with program client enrollments.
Attend meetings, trainings and community events.
Follow funders’ rules and regulations related to the LIFE programs.
Perform other job related duties as assigned.
High school diploma, AA degree preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in office or clearly demonstrated experience working with the community.
Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, clean DMV driving record and reliable personal transportation.
Microsoft Word, Outlook and the internet.
Criminal background clearance and copy of driving record will be required prior to employment.
