BronxWorks is hiring (1) CLINICAL COORDINATOR for the Adult Homeless Services. The Clinical Coordinator’s primary role will serve as leadership of a team of 4 case managers and 1 social worker who will be assisting clients in a mental health shelter environment. This includes serving as first point of contact for clients in need of assistance outside their case management staff.
Additionally, the Clinical Coordinator will carry a small caseload of high-need shelter clients and will work with them towards permanent housing and addressing related needs. An LMSW or LCSW is required for the position. Bilingual skills in English/Spanish are preferred.
Clinical Coordinator will receive training on assistance with self-administration of medication and will be expected to manage the overall implementation of the medication management program in conjunction with the other Clinical Coordinator and offer this service to clients. The Clinical Coordinator will also receive training to obtain credential to perform mental health code 9.58 removals. Evening and/or weekend hours may be required.
