So. Westchester County Adolescent Residential Program seeks experienced Licensed Social Worker/ Program Director to work with youth, ages 18-21 involved in the criminal justice system. Candidate must possess MSW/MA or Masters Degree in a related field, with 4 years’ supervisory experience. Knowledge of Mental Health, Substance Abuse, and the Criminal Justice system necessary to fill position. Must have experience working with at-risk adolescents, as well as facilitating therapeutic groups. Program Director will report directly to the Executive Director.
•        Administrative oversight of a 12 bed residential Alternative to Incarceration program.
•        Ability to complete psychosocial and Individual Crisis Management Plans upon in and provide updates on predetermined timeframes.
•        Ensures implementation of evidence based and trauma informed approaches throughout program services.
•        Provides regularly scheduled supervision to House Manager and Residential Supervisor.
•        Provides supervision and administrative oversight to all interns and volunteers as required.
•        Responsible to ensure program compliance with all Federal, State, Local and additional funder regulations.
•        Engages all staff in both Quality Assurance and Continuous Quality Improvement Strategies.
•        Ensures ongoing and accurate data collection as required by program, agency and funders.
•        Represents YSPW on the Local, State and Federal Level by attending conferences, task force meetings and coalitions that address concerns relating to the youth population.
•        Builds community relationships and partnerships in order to advocate for youth and promote the agency and youth programs.
•        Engages in Supervision on a regular, planned basis with Executive Director.
•        Participates on a scheduled basis in both Senior Management and Program Director Meetings
•        Responsible to engage in and facilitate ongoing Outreach and Educational opportunities to promote program and agency services.
•        Participate actively in on-going professional development opportunities.
•        Performs other duties as assigned.
•        Ability to work in a crisis intervention setting
•        Must have LMSW or LCSW

TCI Trainer preferred, or to be trained within 90 days.
Valid NY State Driver’s License and Bi-lingual a plus
