Position Summary: This position is supervised by the General Preventive Program Director.

•Oversee and responsible for the service delivery to a total of 48 families (caseloads of 12 families/case planner)
•Oversee the daily functioning of the office/program at that site
•Individual weekly supervision to a unit of 4 MSW/BA/BSW Social Workers with required written documentation of supervision on all cases in real time
•Supervision of administrative assistant
•Work closely with other administrative staff on site with regards to site issues and within the General Preventive Program with regards to ongoing program development
•Facilitate Family Team Conferences
•Liaison to other professional staff, parents and children as appropriate – outreach to the community for linkages, referrals and agency visibility
•Prepare statistical reports including but not limited to case records, supervisory documentation, staff evaluations and other data as required
•Oversight utilization of agency and community resources for children and their families as well as compliance with all accountability regulations and procedures of ACS (Administration for Children’s Services) and Children’s Aid
•Conduct unit meetings, participate in case reviews, , staff training and planning sessions
•Coverage 1 or 2 evenings per week
•Work collaboratively with ACS monitor teams
•Attend community meetings
•Other duties as needed

•MSW plus five years post-MSW experience required; LMSW preferred
•Thorough working knowledge of ACS Preventive Services system
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Excellent organizational and management skills
•Supervisory experience
•Knowledge of family systems approach
•Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and relate to parents and teens
•Experience with families in crisis and risk of child placement due to neglect/abuse
•Work experience in community and neighborhood based programs
•Knowledge of ACS CONNECTIONS and Promis systems.
