Collaborative Support Programs of NJ (CSPNJ), a peer led not-for-profit organization, seeks qualified Support Service Worker to join a residential program servicing individual living and recovering from a psychiatric disability based out of Clifton, NJ. The position is full-time for 40 hours per week // Mon. - Fri. Excellent benefits package. Support Service Worker will provide direct social services to residents in our supportive housing program that are living and recovering from a psychiatric disability. Will assist persons’ in recovery to re-establish valued roles in the community and work on pre-set goals per the treatment plan. Work in a variety of ways to promote self-sufficiency. Must have excellent time management skills and able to meet program service goals. Able to work in a team setting and self-motivated to work independently in the field. Individual will have strong writing skills and be able to complete accurate and timely documentation as required by program regulations.
Qualifications: Bachelors in Social Work or related field and 1 year work experience working in a residential setting –OR- equivalent. Excellent written and verbal skills, strong assessment skills and organizational skills are required. Ability to manage crisis; strong computer skills and valid NJ drivers’ license and acceptable driving record is required. Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation models a plus.
