The Clinical Supervisor works under the direction of the Sr. Director of Mental Health Services (MHS). S/he will be responsible for clinical & direct supervision of staff & coordination of the intake process. Duties include: orientation & onboarding of new staff, individual & group supervision; leading clinical trainings for MHS & interventions; chart & note reviews; monitoring of productivity & service delivery units in accordance w/guidelines.

Qualifications:

•        LCSW or LMFT licensed by the State of CA Board of Behavioral Science or Licensed Clinical Psychologist license with the Board of Psychology
•        Able to provide quality clinical supervision & coaching to licensed, unlicensed
•        Must maintain license as a condition of employment
•        Excellent clinical & crisis intervention skills
•        Current unrestricted CA Driver’s License & proof of auto insurance
•        Prior experience working in a senior service or related setting preferred
•        Knowledge of DMH guidelines /paperwork required
•        Excellent written & verbal communication skills
•        Must be computer literate in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
•        Flexible & able to work autonomously, take initiative & problem-solve effectively
•        Must pass a criminal background check (Live Scan fingerprinting) prior to beginning employment

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

•        Responsible for the clinical & casework supervision of direct service staff across MHS programs
•        Review of documentation & QA monitoring to ensure meeting regulations for DMH
•        Provide clinical intervention trainings for clinicians, & paraprofessionals
•        Attend case consultations & DMH meetings
•        Provide weekly individual & group supervision to staff
•        Assist in coordination of intake process, screen referrals & assign cases to clinicians
•        Monitor clinician caseloads to maintain full utilization & productivity of resources
•        Hire staff, provide performance reviews, & ongoing administrative management of staff
•        Provide after-hours crisis intervention & on call services on a rotational basis
•        Interact with internal programs, clinical/support staff & w/external sources
•        Other related duties may be required including direct clinical service as needed
