The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an Administrative Specialist 1 for the Quantitative Research Unit of the Data Analytics, Research, and Statistics (DARS) office. The selected individual will enter data into, produce reports on, and validate statistical information on judicial reporting and reserved matters. The selected individual will also assist the Chief in reviewing and editing internal and external publications to ensure adherence to the Unit’s internal style guide.SALARY: The salary range for this position is $50,776.88 to $80,037.83 for Schedule A, and $50,776.88 to $76,035.93 for Schedule B.
This position will benefit from a detail-oriented person with Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and data entry experience. The selected candidate will also assist in modernizing the monthly statistical reporting, analyzing statistical trends, and analyzing interactive dashboards.
The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 3 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings
Qualifications
Three years of experience performing a variety of clerical and support services to include keyboarding and one or more of the following: document or information processing and/or scheduling meetings or appointments.
Ability to use a keyboard, no minimum speed.
Note: Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
Experience editing tables in Excel, visualizations in Tableau/PowerBI, and reviewing manuscripts before publication is preferred.

Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform essential duties of the position.

Residency Law: In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), the "New Jersey First Act," all persons newly hired by the Judiciary within one year must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey.
