Behavioral Health Manager
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year

We’re looking for a reliable, well-organized Behavioral Health Manager to join our team. Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings clinical expertise, leadership, and a passion for making a difference.
As a Behavioral Health Manager, you’ll oversee service delivery aligned with individualized treatment plans, provide professional guidance to Behavioral Health Service Providers, and may supervise both clinical and support staff. You’ll play a key role in coordinating care, maintaining documentation, and ensuring high standards of service across the department.

Key Responsibilities
-Coordinate services with Service Providers, Care Managers, and Department Heads
- Collaborate with treatment teams and Health Homes to ensure cohesive care
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans within required timelines (30 days, 180 days, annually)
- Provide individual, family, and group support as authorized
- Attend introductory meetings and maintain regular contact with children and youth on caseload
- Conduct behavioral health assessments and diagnoses for new intakes
- Complete referrals and applications for children/youth in need of care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including billing and incident reports
- Ensure timely and consistent billing from Service Providers
- Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, workshops, and clinical supervision
- Offer insight and direction to the team and serve on committees as assigned
- Create person-centered, strength-based treatment plans in the EHR system
- Review clinical notes and assessments promptly to ensure quality and compliance
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in EHR/Precision Care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related behavioral health field (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health
- Supervision provided by LCSW/LMSW, LMHC; Clinical supervision by LCSW
