Columba Services Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals who have struggled with homelessness. Many of our residents have experienced significant trauma in their lives and are struggling with mental illness and/or substance abuse. We provide a safe and stable environment for all the individuals we serve while treating them with Respect and Dignity. A Harm Reduction approach is used at Columba Services. Objective:
The successful candidate should display outstanding leadership and communication skills. They should also have experience working with the homeless population and with people who are struggling with severe mental illness and substance abuse. The ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and build a team, are essential skills for the successful candidate.
Essential Functions:

• Provide direct services to a small a caseload.
• Provide appropriate supervision to staff.
• Develop and implement service plans.
• Identify and implement program improvement initiatives.
• Ensure that contractual obligations are being met and/or exceeded.
• Facilitate weekly program meetings.
• Collaborate with other providers and initiate conferences when deemed necessary.
• Assist with the client referral/interview/move-in process.
• Build a team environment with staff.
• Create community with clients.
• Assist the Director of Residential Services in preparing for audits.
• Provide data for monthly reports.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
