Description
The Coordinated Response Specialist supports Project Hope—an initiative of the Menomonie Police Department that connects individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges with supportive services. This full-time, in-person position works closely with law enforcement, local care providers, and community partners to provide outreach, coordinate crisis responses, and assist with case management.The starting wage range is $27.88–$31.25/hour, depending on qualifications. This position includes full benefits and is scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours. This is a 3-year grant-funded position with the expectation of permanent assignment upon grant expiration.

Skills
Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience interacting with persons at various levels of crisis. They will have experience with chemical dependency, mental health, and/or social work. Ideal candidates will possess a high level of intrinsic motivation and enthusiasm for contributing to the development of this new position within Project Hope. Experience in performing chemical dependency and/or mental health assessments is a plus.
