Harris Hands Community Services, Inc is a small nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides comprehensive community based services to individuals diagnosed with I/DD. We are based in the Bronx, New York, and service people throughout the New York Metropolitan area. Harris Hands provides services such as Community Habilitation, In- Home Respite, Holiday Respite, Afterschool Respite, Without Walls Day habilitation, and Supplemental Day Habilitation Without Walls program. HHCS is looking for an experienced (non-profit) Operations Manager to oversee the daily functions of the agency’s operations. You will work closely with the Founder/CEO and Deputy Director to improve efficiency, performance, productivity, and profitability using practical approaches and tactics.
Job Summary: The Operations Manager's role is to implement the right organizational processes and practices. The specific duties of an operations Manager include working closely with the executive team, formulating strategies, improving agency performance, procuring material and resources, and securing compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing leadership and management to the administrative team.
Managing the daily operations of the agency which will include activities such as working closely with external contractors and auditors to ensure compliance and agency efficiency.
Developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with agency vendors, and overseeing the compliance of procedures with specifications and quality requirements.
Working to support the achievement of the company's mission statement and operational objectives.
Providing ongoing agency/staff training, including corporate compliance.
Accounts Payable of agency expenses
Programs/Department Billing
Overseeing the Human Resources Manager and agency Benefits
Supervisory Duties: The operations manager will lead a team of administrative personnel.
Carrying out other related duties as assigned by your employer and or supervisor.
