The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino was organized in 1941 and to date is the largest provider of affordable housing in the County. We are currently looking for a HOUSING SERVICES SPECIALISTS who will be responsible for performing a variety of duties pertaining to the occupancy and eligibility of Housing Services Programs. We currently have openings in our San Bernardino office.
Job Duties
Determines eligibility of program participants including eligibility for continuing participation. Prepares/reviews leases and documentation involved in the eligibility and rental process. Prepares and conducts interim and bi-annual re-evaluations. Briefs prospective applicants, participants/residents, landlords for the various programs.

Skills
High School diploma or equivalent; Associates preferred. Equivalent of three (3) years directly related experience preferably in a housing organization or social service agency. Bilingual preferred. Must be willing to travel to offices in Victorville, San Bernardino and Upland.

Notes
Salary: $22.27 - $27.83 Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Regular Full time position: 9/80 work scheduleBenefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, PERS Retirement, Education Reimbursement, 457 Deferred Comp Plan, Life Insurance, AD&D, 15 paid Holidays, Vacation and Sick accruals.
