Description
PALS, Inc. is a leading provider of day program services for adults with intellectual disabilities and has offices in Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles counties. Our agency is committed to providing services in alignment with Person-Centered philosophy & practice.
The Program Director is a supervisory position and reports to agency ownership. PALS Santa Paula is a specialized program intended to support a maximum of fifteen persons who have a history of trauma and/or mental health challenges. The Director supervises 10-15 direct support, administrative, and professional staff.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a social science or related field is preferred, but the successful candidate may substitute education for experience. Candidates with advanced social science education are encouraged to apply.

Skills
The successful candidate possesses excellent communication and leadership skills, and has experience working with positive behavioral support strategies, crisis management, and de-escalation techniques.
