Title:         Help Desk Coordinator & Procurement Analyst

Program: IT Department – Varick

Salary:      $60,000 - $65,000

Overall Responsibilities:

Project Renewal's IT Department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Help Desk Coordinator & Procurement Analyst. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing technical support to employees and managing the procurement process to ensure efficient acquisition of IT hardware and software. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a background in IT support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

-Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone or email.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams when necessary.
Assist with setting up, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
Document support tickets, resolutions, and processes to maintain an accurate knowledge base.
Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management.
Review and analyze purchasing requests to ensure compliance with company policies and budgetary constraints.
Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and inventory levels.
Monitor inventory levels of IT equipment, supplies, and software licenses.
Conduct regular audits to reconcile inventory records and identify discrepancies.
Coordinate asset disposal and recycling processes in compliance with environmental regulations.
Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, policies, procedures, processes, and procurement workflows.
Complete other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with procurement processes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
A+ Certification is a plus.
