Why Choose Military Medicine with Spectrum Healthcare Resources?

Military medicine refers to the specialized field of healthcare dedicated to the medical care and well-being of military personnel, veterans, and their families.

Appreciative Patient Base: This fully insured patient population is highly motivated to return to full health and is more readily compliant with medical measures
Unparalleled Work-Life Balance: Healthcare professionals deserve a true balance within their personal and professional lives. Enjoy generous PTO, paid federal holidays, and flexible employment opportunities with SHR

Kings Bay was selected as the Navy’s Commander-in-Chief Installation Excellence Award winner for 2007. The barracks, galley, gym, and other support services on the upper base were built with talking in mind. No building is more than a 15-minute walk from any other. The base encompasses about 16,000 acres, 4,000 of which are protected wetlands. Some of the endangered or threatened animals in the wetlands are the Manatee, Gray Fox, Southern Bald Eagle, Osprey, Least Tern, and the Wood Stork. Among the amazing history of Kings Bay, here are some enjoyable things to do in the area:
·         Take a stroll around the beautiful Cumberland Island National Seashore
·         Relax and take in the scenery on a boat ride through the Okefenokee Swamp Park, or the Amelia River Cruisers and Charters
·         Play your luck at golf at the Laurel Island Links
·         Enjoy a scenic ride and a show on the St. Mary’s Railroad
