Description
The Educational Assistant provides on campus college education support to individuals with disabilities throughout the Inland Empire. College sites are located in Victorville, San Bernardino, Palm Desert, Riverside, Norco, and Menifee area. Educational Assistants are required to meet the standards specific to independent college sites, including dress code and work quality requirements, as deemed necessary by Program Manager.

Educational Assistants work as a mentor, tutor, advocate, and community partner on each campus. It is the expectation that the daily support encourages and supports the SCRS mission toward assisting individuals with disabilities in achieving independence through education and employment.

Skills
A.A./A.S. Degree, or current student within the college site with 30 units or more. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Willingness to accept work direction from others. Professional English writing ability, including usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary. Proficient use of basic office equipment, including Microsoft Office Suite. Immediate access to a vehicle, and proof of current driver’s license and car insurance.

Notes
Full time positions offer Medical, Dental, and Vision, and retirement benefits. Milage and cell phone reimbursement given due to the nature of the position.
