A Lead Intensive Case Manager (LICM) works closely with the Director of SAIF assisting supervising the Intensive Case Managers (ICM) to ensure that the ICMs are adequately providing case management services and all state requirements are being meet and manage a case load.

The Lead ICM has the responsibility to ensure that the ICMs move the SAIF associates to an exemption status or returned to welfare for work activities to achieve self-sufficiency within the 24-month SAIF time frame.
•        The Lead Intensive Case Manager will have a caseload of 20 or less associates, providing the full range of SAIF case management services to an assigned active caseload of eligible individuals, including assessment, creation of ISP, monitoring of progress, referring cases, and closing cases as indicated.
•        Responsible for the implementation of casework assignments and casework activity, as well as meeting compliance and time frame requirements on all supervised cases.
•        Provide daily supervision of ICMs assisting with the successful outcomes for their clients.
•        Ensures that ICMs are following all mandates and maintaining compliance as required by State of New Jersey.
•        Provides coaching, training, and staff development as needed.

Skills
Educational requirements
•        BSW, BA/BS/ degree in human services field


Notes
•        5 to 8 years’ experience in the health and human service field, social services, case management, supports, and supervision of staff.
•        Additional experience in workforce development, training & human resources a plus.
•        Must be a licensed driver and have a personal vehicle that can be utilized for field visits as needed.
•        Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to provide professional supervision and leadership to case manager staff.
