POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the oversight of all program management and development for the Agency, including the Pre-Vocational Program, Saturday Program, After School Program, Culinary Program, Supported Employment services and Residential programs once established.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Program Management
· Responsible for the overall leadership, oversight, and management of the Agency’s operational programs and any other services as directed.
· Work collectively as part of the Agency’s Leadership Team as well as with individuals at all levels within the Agency.
· Ensures ongoing regulatory compliance of all programs.
· Maintain standards of program development and service delivery consistent with the Agency mission, philosophy, and program policies and procedures.
· Ensure on-going oversight and assessment of programmatic needs, individual consumer needs, proper utilization management, and both client and staff satisfaction.
· Oversee the coordination of admissions, inter-program movement, and discharge of clients as appropriate. Participate in admission meetings, treatment planning and discharge conferences as indicated.
· Directly supervise the Pre-Vocational, Saturday and After-School Programs.
· Ensure that all programs are adequately staffed, and that staff are provided with appropriate orientation and training.
· Ensure the highest level of quality in all program/service environments.
· Actively participate as a member of various Agency committees, leading the Parent Advocacy Group and Leaders Committee (Human Rights) as well attending Incident Review and Corporate Compliance committees as requested.
· Collaborates with the Human Resources and Compliance Directors on staff training and regulatory compliance issues.
· Works closely with the Chief Operating Officer in developing policies and procedures for all service programs.
· Assist clients who need help in the DDD application process as needed.
· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing programs for individuals with developmental disabilities required.
· Experience with DDD and/or OPWDD compliance issues, as well as the processes and procedures that the Agency is mandated to follow.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Social Services, or a related field preferred.
