The Engaged Neighborhood Coordinator will collaborate actively and meaningfully with a multi-stakeholder Steering Committee to promote the effectiveness and sustainability of Grow Up Garden Grove efforts. These include service access and parent/caregiver leadership development strategies to improve the holistic development of children 0-9 and their families in Garden Grove. Provide coordinated support to the Grow Up Garden Grove Initiative and assist with the implementation of grant goals, ensure tracking and compliance.

Location:
Various locations in Orange County
Schedule/Pay:
Part time, Non-exempt
M-F Up to 29 hours/week, occasional evening and Saturday hours, excluding recess periods
$23.00 to $27.00/hour
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Bachelor’s degree in child development, education, human services, social work, public policy, public health or related field
Minimum experience of 2 years in early childhood education, community outreach, or parent engagement
In the absence of a BA degree, at least 5 years of related experience and progressively increasing roles and responsibilities
Ability to speak in front of large and small groups
Bilingual capabilities preferred
Ability to use a variety of computer software applications, specifically, Excel, Word, Publisher and Outlook
Valid CA driver license, auto insurance, 2 years of driving experience, safe driving record and reliable transportation
Must clear screening, background check and onboarding process
