Do you enjoy developing a team, leading it to success and being rewarded and recognized for your contributions? Graham Windham seeks experienced and dynamic Supervisors with previous case planning experience. Must possess strong motivation and coaching skills. Our child welfare focused “Prevention Programs” are located in three of New York City’s highest risk communities, central Brooklyn, the Bronx (Hunts Point and Tremont), and Harlem. These programs help families care safely for their children while addressing underlying conditions that can lead to child abuse or neglect, such as parental depression, family stress, substance use or domestic violence.
Our “Family Foster Care Programs” help children to get back to their families, adopted into a new family or connected to someone who is willing to be an anchor for children, throughout their childhood and into adulthood. To help us do that, we have hundreds of loving & highly qualified foster parents primarily in Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx and Westchester County- who serve as our foster children's substitute family. The Treatment Family Foster Care (TFFC) program extends this support along with additional services to children and youth with specialized emotional, mental health and/or other developmental needs.
Supervisors will provide clinical and administrative supervision of case planners and support staff in the implementation of case specific goals of families; will ensure that the multi-method program has a consistently strong approach to partnering with families to promote the safety and wellbeing of all children. The successful candidates will ensure that the agency practice approaches (Solution-Based Casework and Motivational Interviewing) are used to partner with families to help develop and encourage families to build connections to positive supports in their community; ensure that our families and staff have access to high-quality resources to meet their needs.
Supervisors will ensure responsive action is taken to meet all regulatory requirements of the Family Treatment Rehabilitation Program in accordance to NYS OCFS, New York City Administration for Children Services and Graham’s Pillars (Treat all with respect; Promote Safety and Well-Being; Encourage learning; Support opportunities for growth and Thrive in life) so as to strengthen families and protect children. Creates, in partnership with case planners and families, service plans which address safety, behavioral, educational, and psychological and permanency needs.
