SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Employment Programs, is responsible to provide knowledgeable, competent and professional technical assistance and support to the Director of Employment Programs and other Supported Employment staff members in the administration of his/her responsibilities, maintaining high policy standards of performance, service, communications, ethics and confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Note - this list is not all inclusive). Other Duties may be assigned.
* Is responsible to ensure all job duties are performed in-line with and in support of the mission of Anthesis.
* Provides guidance and supervision for specified staff in SES program. * Works under direct supervision and in conjunction with the Director of Employment Programs in the execution and maintenance of all duties and responsibilities relevant to supported employment.
* Participates in recruitment and training of specified program staff. * Acts as liaison with the community, representing the agency in a professional manner.
* Responsible for program development and coordination of services. * Observes, records, evaluates, designs, implements and monitors all appropriate paperwork including authorizations, SES billing, and other relevant paperwork related to SES. Responsible for coordinating with the Finance Department all appropriate billing information associated with the SES department. * Instructs and supervises the appropriate personnel to assist in the implementation of the IHSP (Individual Habilitation Service Plan.)
* Provides assistance and clerical support, to include routing/processing paperwork, filing, composing and typing correspondence, scheduling appointments, compiling statistical reports and other duties as needed.
* Acts as customer service liaison to SES customers via any/all channels of communication, establishing professional rapport through personal, electronic, and telephone contact, adhering at all times to excellence in customer service. *Makes contact with existing employers and business contacts to ensure quality assurance for all contracts and Anthesis Business services. * Participates in the selection and placement of workers in paid employment with local businesses, private and governmental agencies. * As an advocate, represents the needs of program participants to Anthesis personnel, parents, residential care providers, regional centers, Department of Developmental Services and other Stakeholders. * Meets regularly with program participants (individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities) regarding a variety of issues, including but not limited to individual satisfaction with program changes and/or potential changes in program, vocational issues, behavioral issues, social issues, personal issues, etc. * Assures that program participant rights and confidentiality are respected. * In conjunction with Senior Job Coaches is responsible for preparing analysis of work environment, requirements and specific job analyses. * Oversees and keeps current funding referrals and funding source transfers for each person served in SES. * Provides necessary information and support for development of job bids in coordination with the Director of Employment Programs. Under the direction of the Director of Employment Programs assist in the preparation of MOUs.
