Description
Seeking qualified individual with at least 3 years’ post Master’s degree experience providing child, adolescent and family therapy. Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling; license is preferred (LCSW, LPC or LMFT). Must have familiarity with DSM IV/V. Will provide school-based mental health counseling to students; consultation & collaboration with school staff; and case management services to students and their families. Must have effective communication skills and basic computer skills and knowledge of community resources.

Salary Range: $47,000 - $65,000 per year
Hiring Range: $47,000 - $56,000 per year

A hiring bonus of $2000. for non-credentialed and a $3000. bonus for credentialed is now being offered. 50% will be paid at hiring and the remaining 50% will be paid at one year.

This position is based on a 10-month school calendar – 37.5 hour workweek.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Education:

Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling preferred.

License preferred (LCSW, LPC, LMFT).

All mental health clinicians must register with CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Health) within 7 days of date of hire.

Experience:

Post graduate experience providing child, adolescent, and family therapy is preferred.

Familiarity with DSM IV/V codes and Medicaid paperwork required.

Knowledge of community resources.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Other:

Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Must be vaccinated with the Covid-19 Vaccine

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and/or group therapy to high school students.

Provide therapy and/or psychoeducation to families of students as needed.

Consult and collaborate with school staff regarding needs/behavior of students.

Provide crisis intervention support.

Facilitate referrals to meet medical and psychiatric needs of clients as indicated.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with Agency standards.

Participate in team meetings; in-services and supervisory sessions as required.

Other duties as assigned.
