Description
The Therapist and clinical supervisor has the responsibility of determining the clinical needs of clients and those of their interns and directing services to meet client needs. Population served includes children ages 2-17 years old who have experienced trauma and victimization. Victimization may include bullying by peers, assault, hit & run or DUI victim, physical abuse, sexual abuse, family violence, neglect, mass violence event survivor, or other qualifying experiences.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide individual, group and/or family therapy to assigned cases • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of unpredictable situations where only limited standardization exists • Provided trauma informed care to youth ages 2-17 who have experienced victimization which may include bullying by peers, assault, hit & run or DUI victim, physical abuse, sexual abuse, family violence, neglect, mass violence event survivor, or other qualifying experiences. • Provide support and education to clients • Participate in agency training presenting topics which relate to the special needs of the clients served • Provide Parent- Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) adhering to the PCIT procedures and protocols (EBP Training in PCIT provided) • Maintain files for each client and keep in compliance • Train or support the training of new and ongoing clinical staff in CHAT services • Attend team meetings, clinical meetings and other meetings as required • Complete special projects as assigned • Assist in completion of reports as assigned • Ensure compliance to contract and grant outcomes • Ensure that site is neat and tidy and report all maintenance or safety issues to manger or Facilities Manager immediately. • Regular attendance is a requirement of the position. • Evening and day time hours required • Participate in agency Program Quality Improvement activities and initiatives • Participate in agency Safety initiatives and proactively report safety issues to management immediately • Other duties as assigned.

Skills
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field, Licensed MFT or LCSW & 3-5 years related field experience preferred. Experience working with culturally diverse families required. Experience in trauma informed care or therapeutic modalities. PCIT training and experience preferred. Required to be fully vaccinated with booster against COVID-19 (if eligible or agree to receive booster at the time of eligibility)
