The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino (HACSB) was established in 1941 and has evolved into one of the most progressive housing authorities in the Country. We are the largest provider of affordable housing in San Bernardino County and proudly assist approximately 26,000 people. The Housing Authority is a separate legal entity from the County of San Bernardino with approximately 145 employees. We are currently looking for a RESIDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR who will be responsible for planning and coordinating resident services to improve the stability, quality of community life, and wellness of individuals and families.

Duties include: assessing the needs of individuals/families and providing referrals or connecting them to community service providers. Planning and coordinating community activities. Building and maintaining effective partnerships with appropriate local, state, community and faith-based organizations.

Skills
Bachelors degree with course work in public or business administration, behavioral science, education, or related field; at least 3 years experience in community relations or social service programs, housing, or a related field. Equivalent education/experience may be considered. Must have valid CA Driver's license and insurable at standard rates on a continuing basis as required by the Housing Authority's vehicle insurance carrier. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Salary: $25.82 - $32.28 Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Regular Full time position:   9/80 work schedule
