Provides overall direction and administration of all programs and services at the Penn South NORC-SSP (Penn South Program for Seniors) and the Club Connect social adult dementia day program.
Supervises the procedures followed by staff to implement the programs and services including: social work services, program development and implementations, volunteer services, social adult day services, and health education and health services.
Functions as agency liaison to Penn South Social Service, Inc. (sponsors of the Penn South NORC) and Mutual Redevelopment Houses (MRH) by preparing monthly board reports and working closely with PSSS and MRH executives and board members.,
Serves as agency liaison to the Chelsea community; including organizations serving Penn South residents over the age of 60, local vendors and to NORC partners.
Monitors and manages budgets for the NORC SSP program and the Club Connect program.
Provides direct supervision and operational oversight of the Club Connect program director and NORC SSP program staff.
Develops in-service training programs for staff and volunteers.
Preparation of grant proposals for the NORC SSP and Club Connect program.
Assumes direct leadership of groups.
Maintains records and statistics for NORC SSP and Club Connect program.
Oversees purchasing and inventory of office equipment/supplies and materials and supervises use of equipment and facilities.   
Attends community and agency meetings.

Graduate of an accredited school of social work with M.S.W, LMSW preferred.
Ten years of related social work experience preferred, including increasing levels of responsibility.
Excellent writing and record keeping skills.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
An understanding and appreciation of the roles of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual preference, and individual values have as they relate to serving clients and families. Evenings and/or weekends as assigned by Senior Director or designee.
